Imagine
a network where a large amount of data is processed every day. Do you think it
is possible to handle such volume of data by simple methods? The answer is ‘no’
and that is where Hadoop and other related applications come into the picture. Hadoop
is one of the successful projects of Apache Software Foundation. This amazing
technology was used to do two important things namely a distributed file system
– better known as (Hadoop Distributed File System) and a specialized framework
for processing and running MapReduce Jobs.
